Welcome to the 2020 - 2021 School year.
Thank you, faculty, staff, parents, and students for a great start to the school year. A big thank you to Bintou Almoustapha Boubacar for the beautiful balloon arch. What a wonderful way to celebrate our students as they took their first steps back on to campus.
The drop-off and pick up systems will improve as we become accustomed to the new way of doing things. At this time, we ask families to use our drive through pick up system. This will help limit the number of people on campus. One parent or guardian at a time is still welcome to walk on to campus to collect their child and exit promptly. One change we will make for Tuesday is to bring 1st graders and kindergartners out to the front entry so they can exit quickly. This will also help the drivers so they don’t have to find parking. We appreciate you all for adhering to our request for no lunch deliveries on campus. This is a safety measure to limit the number of people on campus. Students seem to have done well with the lunches they pack in with them when they enter school.
The students have done a great job wearing their masks and maintaining physical distancing. Our ISD kids are strong and capable. They’re setting an example for the whole community!
