"I never thought that I would ever paint. My dad and my sister love painting, but I was never into as a kid. But then, well, now, I see why they like it a lot...We’ve done watercolor, acrylic, and oil. See, this one is oil and I like it the most. Although it’s the messiest, it’s really easy to use and correct your mistakes."
Jordan had never painted with oil paints before his IB Art 1 class with Mr. Nevdon Jamgochian. "Most schools don’t do oil paint because it's considered too complicated for students. But these guys are awesome."
The arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education. A large part of our curriculum at ISD is dedicated to fostering creativity in our students and allowing students to experiment and explore new fields and ideas.
