Wednesday, September 16: First PTO Meeting
The first PTO meeting of the year will take place on Wednesday, September 16 at 9 a.m. As much as we would LOVE to be able to meet in person, we will meet via Zoom at the link below. We will talk about the year to come and discuss what PTO looks like in times of COVID and social distancing. We hope you can join us!

The ISD PTO:
1. Serves as a liaison between the parents and the school community.
2. Supports new and returning ISD families
3. Organizes cultural and social events, and
4. Raises funds to support the academic and social needs of the ISD community
Who is the PTO?
The PTO is comprised of parents of students at ISD. ANY parent can join and ALL are encouraged to join meetings and participate in activities and events. We are currently looking for a President and Secretary to round out the board. Alexandra Gifford is currently serving as the Treasurer, and until a president is confirmed, the PTO main point of contact.
When does PTO meet?
The PTO will be meeting weekly on Wednesdays at 9 a.m. To start we will meet via Zoom but will meet in person when we can do so safely in a space that can accommodate all who would like to attend.
What does the PTO do in times of COVID?
This is a great question and something we are actively figuring out. We welcome input and ideas from all parents!
