Dear ISD Community,
Thank you to all members of our community for taking care and time to be cautious during these uncertain times by carefully assessing your children’s and your own health and wellbeing daily, and for your communication with the school on such matters.
As indicated in Dr. Knobloch’s message today, if you, your child, or another member of your family or household is recommended for a COVID19 test, in addition to staying home, the school should be provided with the written result of the negative test before your child returns to school.
I know that test results are provided in various different ways in Dakar, from formal paper or emailed lab results, to less formal text or WhatsApp messages. The health clinic will accept many of these forms of negative test results, as long as the person’s name who was tested and the result appear in the messaging.
Please send negative test results via email to nurse@faculty.isd.sn or WhatsApp at 76 740 8050 before your child returns to school.
