Notes from the Teranga Center: Secondary Professional Development

The secondary teachers spent two days engaged in professional development that centered around the teaching and learning of our students. The PYP, MYP and DP curriculum use inquiry-based teaching to enable our students to learn skills and content in a much more meaningful way. Last week the teachers engaged in the same type of inquiry-based learning. As the teachers dove into the IB Approaches to Learning, DP Extended Essay, and our ISD positive behavior system, we grew together as learners and educators.
