We had a parent evening last week to discuss the importance of mother tongue maintenance and development in our children. The parents were given information and tips based on research as to why mother tongue maintenance is important and how it leads to a child's overall cognitive development.
Last week, a group of MYP teachers met to discuss and plan for interdisciplinary teaching and learning (with a focus on service) based on the new IB specifications. This group will look to sharing findings with staff next academic year once the interdisciplinary unit has been taught.
