Notes from the Teranga Center: 2020-21 IB DP Scores

Dear ISD Community,

We hope you have all had a restful holiday and are looking forward to the new school year. As we are preparing to return for the school year 2021-22 we are also reflecting on the previous academic year. One of our major successes came to fruition in early July when the IBO released the Diploma Programme results. Congratulations to the Class of 2021 who achieved excellent results in what was a challenging and often stressful year.

Of the 47 students sat for the full Diploma 91% passed. There were some stand-out scores with 7 students achieving more than 40 points out of the maximum 45. 40 of our students exceeded their predicted grades, some by several points, and 12 students achieved bi-lingual diplomas. We are very proud of the learning and resilience of the Class of 2021 and we wish them all the best for their futures in higher education. Please do keep in touch.

Meanwhile, we are preparing for the next academic year. We wish all of our DP and MYP students the very best for the coming year. Come and visit us in the newly designed Teranga Centre!
