Dear ISD Community,
The library is organizing some fun events for you and your families, one of which is a repeat of the Library Sleepover. Last year, I had no clue how popular this event would be with the grade 3-5 students. Parents couldn’t wait to drop off their loved ones. Indeed, some ran out of the library clicking their heels. Anticipating date night? But the next morning, parents showed up eager to see their loved ones with pride that their children enjoyed the evening without tears and that their children read so many books.
Well, this year, you get another Library Sleepover. The library sleepover is scheduled for:
Friday, April 17th, 2020.
Drop your sprouts off at 6:30pm.
Pick them up at 8:00am the next morning.
Cost: 11,000 CFA per child (1,000 to cover breakfast & 10,000 for fundraising)
Make sure your children have dinner before they get to the library.
They can bring a small Tupperware of healthy snacks for the evening.
They can bring a personal bottle of water.
Toiletries:
Toothbrush & Toothpaste
Washcloth & soap for face
Clothes:
Pajamas & change of clothes for the morning
Sleep Material:
Sleeping bag & blanket
Yoga Mat
Pillow
Teddy Bear
Permission slips will be sent out with the third, fourth and fifth grade teachers. If you have any questions, please reach out to me, Stephanie Creamer, the ISD Librarian. If you are a parent willing to volunteer with supervision, please reach out to me as well.
Thank you,
Stephanie Creamer
