Final Days of School, Cheers from Ms. Kelly

May 26, 2017-- As some of our families begin to pack up and say their good-byes, it is with a heavy heart that we must let them go and wish them well.  I want to thank all of the parents, teachers, and students who make the ISD community so great.  In my first year at ISD, I have made friends that will last a lifetime.  While the year seemed to move at high speed, there are many treasured moments to slow down and honor.  I am proud of our students for their incredible growth.  Many students learned a second language this year or became more proficient in one of their languages.  Students made huge academic strides!  Others learned to play an instrument.  Some took the stage for the very first time and sang their hearts out.  Many planted seeds; we watched them grow.  Children wondered, they questioned and they pondered… they became better problem solvers and thoughtful thinkers.  Teachers were courageous and caring in their approach.  We sang, we laughed, and we cried.  It was beautiful and I can’t wait to do it all again next year.  Let's treasure this year and look forward to next year as we endeavor to become a PYP International Baccalaureate World School! Thanks for rocking my world ISD Community.  I love you!
