Bring your Compost to the ISD Garden

The ISD Garden Project is inviting you to bring your compost from home!

Compost is vital to amend the soil to be able to grow delicious and nutrient rich food. Composting is a school wide initiative that is being taught to our students to teach about renewable resources, decomposition, soil quality, growing food, and sustainability.

Please feel free to bring your compost from home to better ecologically manage your trash and contribute to our community garden. For your connivence we have a new "community compost drop off" location, located on the field grass close to the entrance gates.

No Meat or Dairy please

Only fruits and vegetable scraps, eggshells, anything vegetarian, bread and pasta, rice etc.

For further information please contact Nyah Gueye nyahg@faculty.isd.sn
