This week saw the opening of the bids for construction of the new Performing Arts Centre (PAC) and Gymnasium.
Construction of the building is a significant investment from the school. Representatives from the Board’s Buildings and Ground Committee were present during the bid opening process to ensure oversight and transparency.
The full Board will be considering the bids at a special, single item agenda Board meeting this coming Tuesday 21 November at 6.00 pm in the Conference Room. As always, parents and staff are welcome to attend the meeting as observers. The bids will be considered for a second time by the Board in December before a decision on the preferred contractor is made.

For those Americans in our community, I wish you a very happy thanksgiving holiday next week. As a non-American, I think it is a quite wonderful tradition.
